The two main surgical options are myomectomy, which involves removing the fibroids while preserving the uterus, and hysterectomy, which involves removing the entire uterus. Myomectomy is the preferred option for women who want to preserve their fertility, while hysterectomy is a permanent solution for those who do not want to have children in the future.
